Bascially I can't get a video output from boot. The mother board light

Make sure the ATX12V 2x2 power connector is plugged in next to
the processor. The main 20 pin or 24 pin power connector should
be plugged into the motherboard as well. The video card has a
PCI Express power connector, and the video card needs power through
that connector.

Your new motherboard has a couple of error output methods.
The computer speaker will beep error codes. As well, the
motherboard has "Vocal POST". To listen to the error messages
from that, you plug amplified computer speakers into the
green audio connector on the back of the computer.

If you have checked all the power, and there is still no
video output, strip the computer down a bit. With the
motherboard and a processor installed, you should hear
beeps complaining that no RAM is present. The fact that
the computer can beep, means some BIOS code got
executed and your processor is working. (Always remember
to switch off and unplug, before adding or removing
hardware. Basically, you don't want the green LED on
the motherboard to be lit, while changing out hardware.)

Adding RAM and video card, a step at a time, should change
the symptoms seen via the error output mechanisms. Section
3.3.1 of your user manual, has a list of the Vocal POST
error messages, and you can tell from those, whether the
addition of the next component to the motherboard is
working or not. For example, if you just added one stick
of RAM, if the computer claims the memory test failed,
then the RAM could be bad, whereas if the computer
complained that no video card is present, that means
the RAM test passed. Then you would install the video
card and so on.

I trust you have checked the CPU support page, for any
BIOS dependencies.
