No, but I woudn't think that would be a problem. The device is
disabled in the BIOS, so even if the drivers were installed, they
shouldn't load. I'm not sure they'd even install if the device wasn't
installed on the system.
This is expected behaviour. SATA drives are hot swappable.
What? I know they're hot swapable, but I've never seen this in any
other system containing an SATA drive. Unless this behavior is unique
to nvidia chipsets, of which this is the first for me.
Yes, totally normal. Left-click on the hot-swap icon - select the
drive you want to hot-swap and wait for clearance.
