I've check the indexiong service and it off, also i dont have any
program that works in the back ground for défraging the drive...
What could it be? is this normal with a sata 2 drive?
Someone recently wrote here that it is probably the "autorun" feature of
Windows scanning the CD/DVD drive...does it blink every second or so?
Turn off "autorun", and that should stop that behavior I think.

No, i dont see that blink anywhere, but it jam my games often. The
same way if my video card was over heating, but in my case it not, it
not even overclocked.
Maybe it my virus scanner : bitdefender that scan every hour my disk
drive. but it shouldn't act like so.
In the system panel nothing is check with a yellow mark.
Does deamontool could cause problem with my sata drive?
Why not Run "msconfig" to turn off all your startup programs, and
check again? Plus manually turn off all spyware and viruskillers that
elude msconfig. There are lots of junk utilities out there, some
paid, some freeware, that gobble CPU cycles... Oh, and you could
use Task Manager to help ferret out the bad ones.
