Thanks for all your ideas,
I have bought a new case an antec p180. But still when i go and play a game
the temp of the board goes up to 40 degrees now, its less then what it was
but still a bit high to may likings. I have 3 fans 1 at the bottom front
(air in) and one at the back (air out) and one in the top (air out). You
would think that that would do the trick.
Greetz,
Richard.

Hi All,
I just got my new system:
- P5WD2 Premium
- CU Intel 920
- Nexus Breeze case.
- 400Watt power supply.
- Sapphire x800 GTO videocard.
The problem lies in the temperature of the motherboard, asus probe II
gives an warning when it reaches 45 degrees celcius. Do i need to go and
worry? or is this still on the save side. What is the maximum temperature
for the motherboard?
This only happens when i go and play a 3d game, the temp of the board goes
from 37 degrees to the 45 degrees. I already placed the graphics card in
the second slot (black) to give it some more distance from the chipset,
but that doesn't seem to help out.
De CPU is in idle mode 45 degrees celcius and at load around 52, this
seems ok to me?
Thanks in advance,
Richard.
