No one is robbing you; there's just confusion on definitions. AMD doesn't
use the FSB (front side bus) term for Athlon 64. You may find these a little
confusing (as I do), but see:
Hypertransport:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypertransport
DDR SDRAM:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DDR_SDRAM
Basically, your CPU runs at a 200 MHz bus frequency. (It runs at 12X200 MHz
= 2.4 GHz.) The memory is double rate, which means that it transfers data
twice per clock cycle (on the rising and falling edges), so it is known as
DDR400 (which is the same as PC3200).
Everything is as is should be. The 3400+ (Socket 754) is supposed to be one
of the best bargains in the A64 line. For gaming, it's supposed to beat a
Socket 939 3500+ (which is only clocked at 2.2 GHz).
Address scrambled. Replace nkbob with bobkn.

My prossesser says it is 800 MHZ Front side bus but AMD says it is not.
AMD says it is 1600MHZ FSB. With the model number I gave the of my AMD
athlon 64 3400+. Also My Asus motherboard says that it supports 1600MHZ
with hyper transfer front side bus right on the box but the Place I
bought from online says it only supports 800MHZ FSB. What is the
Problem with my setup did the company sell me junk or is AMD and Asus
lying to me about the product numbers. Please help!!!!!!!!
