Well, i have also CnQ problems: it doesn't work at all. I've installed all
the drivers and set the Bios, but nothing works.... It alll started after
i'veinstalled XP Pro SP2. With Xp Home SP2 it did work well.
Think reinstalling XP would do the job...

I tried Cool and Quiet. Could not see what it did.
Hibernation did not seem to work when it was
installed.
I found that hibernation would not work with the power scheme set to
'minimal power management'. Try using the 'Presentation' scheme instead.
C&Q still requires the functionality to be enabled in the BIOS and the
proper AMD driver installed as stated in some of the other posts.

Anders
Hibernation works just fine with C n' Q. I have five AMD systems, all are
using C n' Q and all hibernate when not in active use. All are running
Windows XP Pro SP2 with all the latest patches and updates applied.
I suspect your ACPI settings in BIOS are causing your issues, not C n' Q.
