You usually have to add sata/raid drivers from floppy not cd
Unless of course you mean the drivers are incorporated into the
boot/setup
disk, as you would if you created a win slipstream cd.

I have a computer that has only a SATA drive. The computer boots into
safe mode only. When I try to boot from a CD (I put in the sata
drivers) with ERD commander it doesent's see the sata drive. I also
have a USB drive attached so I can download the data off the HD.

thanks

I'm booting with ERD commander 2005. When it starts it says hit F6 if
you want to add additional drivers. I do and it recoginizes what it
wants and adds it. But when the computer boots up there is no SATA
drive or USB drive. Without the SATA drive I get the USB drive. So
strange.

So how or what does it recognise after F6 ?
The sata/raid drivers should be those from your mobo raid controler or maybe
raid card.
Generally usb drives should be disconected when booting

if you post at the bottom it flows much better.

The drivers load great but when it gets into erd commander there is no
C drive.
