Sil site lists driver 10051 as win2k/xp whilst 10050 is listed for 2003
server.
The Asus site however lists only 10051 for win2k/xp and no 2003 server
specific file.
There have been prev.posts suggesting that only the Asus driver should be
used, as Asus may have implimented tweaks in their version of the Sil chip.
I ran a A7N8X delux rev2 in mirror mode and it gave serious problems with
data integrity, which were not obvious until a hd failed. Both Asus and Sil
admitted there had been problems, which they thought had been cured by a
mobo bios update.
I purchased a raid card ($340) having lost faith in onboard raid
The blue screens could possibly be caused by memory probs also; you've run
something like memtest86 over a period?
I take it also that your pwr supply is up to it?

First of all thanks for your great research. I am going to start by
taking the controller driver back down to 10051 and see if that helps.
I don't know where I got that driver either. I did not match the bios.
I just upgraded the boards bios to 1013 which is something that Sil
said might help with data corruption. The Sil bios is not upgradeable
separately, but only along with the motherboard bios. I am considering
purchasing a raid card if I can find one that is affordable and reliable
