So I have about a dozen and one "issues" with my current Windows XP installation that I think the best way to fix them is to just to a repair install. That being said, I think I know the answer to my question, but I'm looking to make sure I haven't screwed up logic.
I'm running two SATA IDE disks in RAID 0 for my system disk. In order to do the repair install, I still need to hit the "F6" during the initial XP boot from the install CD and install the RAID drivers correct? Otherwise Windows will see the two disks as separate disks, not a RAID, correct?
Yes, you need to press F6 in order to install the RAID drivers.
Otherwise, Windows setup won't see your hard drives.
