A7N8X upgrade recommendations?

We have two A7N8X systems

Original DLX with semperon 2400 with GE 3-Ti200

E version of the DLX with that 333 barton 2500 but running at 3200 with GE FX 5600 video

I dont want to upgrade to AMD 64 bit and find it is not much faster than what we got already. I assume I will have to get vista when it come out to take advantage of 64 bit?
