When the AGP divider is set to 2/3rds, the AGP bus runs at 89MHz.
The only cards that won't be happy with such a bus clock, are
higher end recent video cards, which tend to be limited to
75MHz or so for their clocks. If you are using an older video
card, like a Geforce 3 or something, it should work OK.

If you are really concerned, you could use a PCI video card. As a
server, there is no need for an AGP video card, and if you
don't have one, you should still be able to find FX5200, FX5500,
or a low end ATI PCI like a 7000. (The following link selects

If you wanted to test for stability, you could leave the
"3DMark2001SE build 330" benchmarking program running in demo
loop mode overnight. If the video is still being rendered the
next morning, that would suggest the AGP slot is in pretty
good shape. While such a test doesn't guarantee anything,
it is one way to accelerate AGP stability testing.
