There is an interesting review of the ASUS A8n32-SLI Deluxe MB posted on
xbit labs website. Interesting in the fact that compared to the older
technology A8N-SLI motherboards, there is no improvement in performance. In
fact, most direct benchmark comparisons, both synthetic and apps, they made
show the older and cheaper motherboards (at roughly half the price of the
new boards) as being faster. ASUS seems to have made a tactical mistake
with this new board - they cut down the cpu and memory bus capacity to make
room for the increased video bus bandwidth. Is the new board worth getting
if it offers no improvements for gaming and may actually run common apps
slower? I'm glad I decided not to wait for the A8N32 to become available in
my area and instead got the 'older' A8N-SLI Deluxe instead.
