Doh! - it didn't work.

I flashed the bios to "P4B266 Beta BIOS 1011.003 The Latest Beta
BIOS.". But when i install the new cpu i get an alarm sound.

Refering to the manual
(http://dlsvr02.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/sock478/p4b266/p4b266-100.pdf) it
sounds like: "Long beeps in endless loop - No DRAM installed or
detected" (page 3-1 in manual).

Putting the old cpu back, and it works like a charm.


Any suggestions?
