Bios

Check Anandtech forums and search on your motherboard. There is a thread that talks about updating the chipset drivers before updating the bios beyond 1006. Some folks are having no problems with dual core and the original bios. Some are having problems updating the bios. Check it out. There is really a lot of info here--more than the newsgroups.
