I always select Custom Install for *anything* installed, download or media, and never rush through. You've got to look carefully to uncheck all the checkboxes for bloatware, even the sneaky ones!
This is how manufacturers make money these days, by annoying the end user. That's why you can buy a state of the art laptop for $700 US. Your discount came at the cost of 70 unwanted, unneeded programs pre-installed on your brand new system.
