I've gotten that error because I haven't gotten my dvd decoder properly worked out.

It has the Intel Atom 1.6Ghz processor and 2Ghz of RAM.

Does a netbook as a rule have enought horsepower to run a dvd
decoder(player)?

Absolutely.

Was thinking of Roxio's Sonic Player. I have previous
version on an XP box, but it doesn't work with 7.

Thanks
