Hi Paul,
Which manufacturers are the best and which are the ones to stay away from?
I heard that gigabyte had quality control problems at one time but I've used
their boards. Previously, I've used ASUS.
Currently, for a build I'm doing, the budget is super tight and I've gone
dual-core. Super-tight means, everything, including the OS and virus
scanner (case, MB, cpu, meemory, HDD, rtc. but no monitor nor
keyboard/mouse) can not exceed $500. A free virus scanner is not an option
since the pc will be used in a corporate environment.
The MB on the list is Foxconn, are they considered ok, in general?
Thanks.
