Re: Updating my RAM config.!?

Hi again. Just trying to get back to you on this as my follow up.

I just ordered 2x1GB memory sticks and a 160GB HDD from Newegg, so I
just forget about the WinME installation and will try to find a
*reasonably priced* WinXP and just go with that!- any ideas?
From what I got out of all the info, from you guys; 1- I'll replace the
memory sticks.
2- Install the new HDD.
3- Start up (do I need a startup disk or will it get setup directly from
the WinXP CD?)
from DOS- with CD drive help- FDISK, FORMAT C:, restart, at "A" prompt I
enter D: (for the CD driver) and then "Setup"? and just follow the
rest!?
Then install all the drivers for the mobo and other accessories I have
installed.-right?!
  If you see anything wrong with this, please let me know, before I
get started.
btw- will my printer and the rest of the stuff I have installed now,
work on WinXP with out any other problems, as far as you know? Thanks
again for all your help!
