A neighbors laptop has a keyboard problem.
Everything works except she can't login to websites that
require a login.
If I connect an external keyboard, she can log in.
the laptop's keyboard generates the charactors on the login
screen, the username shows up, and the passwords show the dots as
they are typed.
Any ideas on what may be causing this?

ps: running xphome and IE8.
Same behavior on firefox.
Caps lock on?
Key not inputting right character? Only way to tell would be to open
notepad or something and type every key to see what displays. -Dave
