Motherboard: Asus M2N-E
RAM: A-DATA DDR2-800 2Gx2 and 1Gx2
Video: Asus Radeon 4850
Power: Antec 550W
Hard disk: Seagate 250G x 2
Unable to boot if all 4 pcs of RAM plugged in.
Removing 1 pc out of slot A1, it booted.
Note that when I was using 3800+, the PC still booted with all 4 pcs of
RAM.

So is it a power problem? Or is it something else?

Check with the manufacturer to see if they have a bios update to
specifically address that problem.

Note: You *might* be able to get it working with all 4 sticks by
underclocking your RAM
