It's not the voltage, it's the CURRENT that can kill.
electricity and may wrongly assume, for example, that a 500 amp, 12
volt car battery is more dangerous than a 15 amp, 120 volt AC outlet,
when in reality the battery poses no shock hazard.and the AC outlet
can be deadly.
Sure, it's the current that kills, but the voltage determines the
current.
