All:
Is it safely possible for me to spray some teflon silicone spray into
the fan of a PC power supply? I need to in order to stop the squeaking
and rattling when it's cold.
Keith
No easy fix Keith.
Follow the instructions in your other post from several good responders
and you will be happy.
Or follow the others advice you got here and just replace the PS.
Hi FP:
Well, I went ahead and sprayed a bit of Silicone Spray in the fan of the PS. I waited a while
and then turned my PC on and kept it on for awhile. So far, nothing misfiring with the PC. I
will know more tomorrow's cold morning.
Thanks, hopefully.
Keith
