The Sony VAIO notebook has both a wireless and a wired NIC.
The wireless part works flawlessly.
However, when I tried the wired network (DHCP), the default
gateway did not appear in "route print". The notebook did
get an IP and the DNS was correct, and I could ping the
notebook's wired NIC.
It seems that the wireless interface's default gateway
overrides that of the wired interface. I am unable to disable
the wireless interface.... :(
