Doesn't matter, you're screwed. Rebate forms explicitly state that
they are not responsible for anything lost in the mail. They also
have other disclaimers about being the sole judge of whether you get
the rebate or not. IT'S A FOOL'S AGREEMENT. When you see a mail-in
rebate, don't let your imagination trick you into thinking you're
going to get a good deal, immediately move on to the next item and
save yourself some time. You also don't have too waste time
complaining about being screwed when it does happen.
