No it's not new I built it about 2 years ago.
The temperatures are OK in the BIOS and sometimes the noise starts when it's cold and just booted up.
No error messages.
I'll try re-seating the memory.
Thanks, I'll get back.
Regards.
Is it possible the noise is a fan noise ?
When a fan wears, the rotor can be off axis a bit
and with the extra friction, it vibrates. It may
stop when it heats up a little.
I'd take the side off the box and have a listen.
Place a finger carefully on the hub of each fan, and
see if a slight pressure, changes the note of the fan.
That may help identify which fan it is. It could be
the CPU fan, or a video card fan.
In terms of alarm sounds, a weird one is a "European
Police Siren" consisting of alternating two note
tones. That might indicate overheat or something
like Vcore is out of spec. I'm not aware of any
"screeching" noises coming from the case speaker
being used as an alarm condition. So it is likely
a fan.
