the Live- CD, and give it a whirl.

Unlike many other Linux distributions this one is very easy to
install and navigate within. Many new users say it is the one
"most like XP" as far as user friendliness goes.

But in the beginning just try it as a Live-CD.

I've been there before, John. I am getting very disgusted with MS and their
pranks.

How long will it be until we have to renew our license for the OS on an
annual basis? The handwriting is on the wall. I don't need them, nor their
OS that bad.
