Mutimedia controller

Hi Guys,
had to reformat my computer, everything has gone on with one exception,
windows xp sp3 keeps finding a Multimedia Controller, wants to instal a
driver, but I cannot find it so it stays uninstalled
I have Three main Driver disks but can't seem to find it on them, would
appreciate a point in the right direction. The disks are:

Windows XP SP2
Gigabyte GA-M61-S3 rev 1.0
Gigabyte GeForce 7600 GS

What does a Multimedia Controller do?
