Most retailers like Newegg just sell MB and CPU combos.
Last time I checked, they sell all computer hardware.
I need that plus memory.
You should know what memory goes with your system if you are
homebuilding. If you are that unsure, try your local CompUSA.
Who has a good site where you can build what you need?
Here in this group.
Newegg is the most technically advanced online computer hardware
merchant. I'd rather there be more than one outstanding online
merchant for computer hardware, but Newegg is it. Their search
engine is the best, bar none. I had to cancel an item in an order at
Newegg, and to my pleasant surprise the cancellation process was
entirely automated. In my opinion, when adding something to my cart
it should not take me to another page. They should see that by the
percentage of times shoppers use the back button. But that IMO is a
small negative.

Nobody "knows" what memory goes in their system, that's absurd. You
pick a MB you like and then find the memory that goes in it by looking
at the manufacturer site or going to the memory manufacturer you like
and finding out which of their memories goes in it. Same for the
processor.
Or..
Use the BETTER answer that the other gentlemen gave which was what I
was looking for. Go to Mwave, pick a MB, then, from the pull down
list the memory and processor that goes in it. A LOT easier.

What is it about this business that attracts the self righteous with
their "your too stupid to be doing this" answers? And, as is usually
the case, they're the ones with the wrong answer.
