I'm currently in mid-built and am using the Antec Nice Hundred case, which seems nice enough, lots of fans, but I think it's a little too small for my needs. Since I run an Intel X6800 (dual core extreme, ouch that's hot!) and an GeForce 7950 GX2 (two cards in SLI mode), which is a pretty big card, I don't have a lot of free space. I think I need a bigger chassis.
I've got an Asus P5N-D MoBo, and the full length GF 7950GX2 runs the full length of the board and almost touches the hard drive rack in the front of the case. Between the card, drives & CPU I generate a fair amount of heat, and have really bad airflow, the PSU fan blows right onto my darn video card.
So, can anyone suggest a slightly larger chassis that might give my equipment a little more breathing room, while still providing a fair amount of fans to keep sufficient airflow? I pretty much buy from Newegg and see some there, but I'd love to hear from experience from other custom builders out there.
Thanks!
There are various models of CoolerMaster Stacker. I liked the look
of some of their previous models, and find the interior trim a
little too restrictive looking on the current ones.

This is one of their older ones (out of stock).

The trick is, use the Newegg search engine, and add "E-ATX" to
the Advanced Search text box. That should help restrict the
search to cases that have room for a large motherboard. There
are roughly 20 returned results, of which 6 might be Stacker models.

E-ATX is 12" x 13"

Watch the Lian Li cases, as some of them rotate the motherboard
180 degrees. The heatpipe cooling systems on some motherboards,
don't work well when inverted, resulting in higher than normal
chipset temperatures.
