A client of mine requested that I set up her computer to use dual
monitors.  Her computer has an Intel D915GAG board w/ onboard Intel
video.  I purchased an  EVGA GeForce 6200 256MB PCI Video Card for the
2nd monitor.

The computer booted into Windows XP successfully w/ the original
monitor connected to the PCI Video port.  Driver was installed from
the EVGA supplied CD.

Checked Device Manager to see if both video adapters were working
properly. The Intel onboard video adapter was listed in Device Manager
as "Video Controller" w/ yellow exclamation point.  Device Status
indicated driver was not installed.  This is strange since there was
no problem w/ the onboard video before the PCI video card was
installed.

Attempted to reinstall Intel video driver from the original Intel
motherboard CD.  Partway through the installation the screen went
black.  Had to shut down computer by holding in power button 5-10
secs.

Rebooted.  Downloaded latest driver from Intel web site.  Blue screen
stop error during installation.

What am I missing?  Shouldn't this video configuration work?

dual heads and will support dual monitors in Windows XP?
