I'd venture a guess to say they only have drivers for that board for XP or
newer versions of Windows.
If that's the case, then no, Win98 won't work on it.

Thanks, Timothy. A further Q: Abit tech replied to phoned question about
board NF-M2SV, requiring a 64 bit, saying that 98SE would not run on that
board,that it needed XP files. Did he know what he was talking about, or
is it a completely different consideration? TIA for any additional
thoughts you may have.
