RAM question
Hello, I bought a laptop with 1G of RAM. 512 RAM removable and 512
built in. I encounterd a problem and it was later learned that the
motherboard was damaged. I have since had it replaced. In the interim,
during technical support I was sent another 512 RAM to eliminate
possibility that the removable piece was damaged. This worked for

Problem with wacom driver
...been going throught the same stuff. My old 12x12 died, and even
though I replaced it with an identicle one, the driver would not
recognize it. I reinstalled until the cows came home,.... nada,
uninstalled via the 'uninstall wacom software' that came with the
driver that has the X32 in the name. all is good. This is a serial

What are the consequences of using a power supply with dying fan?
What are the symptoms of a power supply with a dying fan? Will the
temperature of the CPU go up? Will the voltages on the motherboard
start to fluctuate? What else could happen?

PC3200 Memory problem...
I just bought a new barebones PC and I could not get Windows
installed on it. It kept hanging at random places during the install,
but after I pulled one stick of RAM out I had no problems and even re-
installed just to be sure that I had identified the problem. I've got
the RAM back in the machine now and it booted up the O/S fine... more

Failed Mobo ?
8KTA 3 PRO Computer won't start. Tried resetting at J1- jumpers to
pins 2 and 3, replace to 1 and two. Hard drive powered but nothing on
monitor (except "Check signal cable". Please suggest ways to determine
if mobo is dead, and I must rebuild, or some other cause why no POST.

usb
i have a hp laser jet 2550l i have had it about 14 months and now it
doesn't want to play, it is now coming up with a message saying usb
device not found, try unplugging cable and plugging back in which i
have done. i have even tried re-installing the software but to no

Computer trouble
Hey, I'm currently building my own computer at home and am having
some trouble getting it to work. The only parts I have installed are
the motherboard, processor, power supply, CD/DVD-burner, and of course
