Comparing Athlon 64 X2 and Opteron 165

Hi
When comparing Athlon 64 X2 and Opteron 165 what's the difference if I was
to use one of these processors in a single CPU desktop system (for gaming
mostly)
Are they somewhat equal in performance, or?
I know the Opteron can be used in multiCPU systems, but this is not an
option atm :)
