Hello everyone. It doesn't matter if you don't have the PSU fan header connected to the
I am installing an ASUS P4B-LA motherboard in a new Aluminus case and I
have noticed that the power supply does not have a 3-pin connection to
attach to the motherboard. This is the first time that I have built a
computer and I was concerned that it would be bad to not make this
connection. The motherboard plans can be seen below.

I am specifically concerned about the PS Fan 3-pin connection and the
System Fan 3-pin connection.
I appreciate any help that you can offer.
Thank you,

motherboard, it's only for fan speed monitoring, the fan will still work
without it.
And the system fan connector is for a case fan to connect to, if you don't
have a case fan with that connector, then presumably it has the 4 pin large
molex connector, in that case connect it to one of the PSU leads.
The really important one to get right is the CPU fan connector. Make sure
that the fan on the CPU heatsink is connected to this, otherwise your system
could fail to start correctly.
