Hi Everyone,

My system above with the orig w98 os would not come up, even with the
recovery cd's. I had originally planned to install W2k pro in the
future, but that got sped up yesterday. I did NOT format the drive
first, as I have data that I need to offload that is
"underneath" the new OS (picture files, other stuff), but
when I did the install, my cd burner did not get picked up during the
install process. W2K just sees it as a regular cd drive.

just install your CD burning software from win2k
and hopefully it will work
