I wonder if it could be due to the RAM brand...? I use the 7AXP but
only use a AMD2000 CPU.... I seem to recall the RAM brand was
important when running at 'full speed'.

As an idea would it be worth trying the bios in either Optimized
default or Load Fail-safe default mode...?

Have you used the right bios flash.. see link

you'll have to navigate to the right mobo version.. the bios version
is usually displayed briefly at boot up.

To reset the bios I have to remove the battery, there ain't no links
or switches I can see and I like to removed the power lead from from
mobo as well as the wall socket, I think 30 seconds was mentioned, I
leave it for at least 3 minutes.
