I believe some if not most front bay devices have a long USB cable (or an
option to use one) that is designed to reach through your system, exit an
empty slot in the back, then plug into a standard rear USB port for those
people who don't have an available USB MB connector.

Would like to add additional USB slots to front of box...have availableDon`t forget you need header pins on your M\board
5.5"or 3.25" slot...anyone know where I could get such?
to plug into !.
That's great..Thanks 4 all the advice.
Ref do I have a spare header pins on mobo...not sure yet - have a new one
ordered - its a Asus A8N-E.
If I should go for a multi outlet one as apposed to just USB...eg
including card readers etc...anyone know
will I still need the same connection to the mobo?
Thanks
.
