Well this time I noticed the jumping of the mouse quite well.
I was also able to reproduce it many times.
I knew this before I bought the mouse because my parents have an optical
laser mouse as well.
I still think it's a good mouse though.
(The jumping around is probably caused by the laser being unable to tell the
distance moved because of the texture of the surface or maybe dust particles
;) )
One thing is for sure though, I did not imagine it =D
