products. Use another computer to download these tools to a USB
flash drive or such. Then "Sneakernet" to the computers of interest.
Make sure to install good current antimalware before allowing these
systems to see the Internet. For the sake of safety, Sneakernet their
critical system updates before Internet exposure.
Since you use Google (and many here filter Google out) give yourself a
learning experience and do a search for these removal tools. Post a
follow-up with your progress or lack of and we can narrow your search
if need be.

RE: Pete & Tommy
I have done my home work and this is my results. I managed to
find and use a removal tool for Norton Anti Virus. The removal tool
downloaded I clicked run, the file extracted, and before I know it the
Norton 2008 was gone. As for AVG anti virus through playng with it,
updating it, and restarting the computer I found myself protected.
But, early today I clicked on the AVG desk top Icon and, the Email
Scanner Icon within the open window read " Email Scanner Not
Active." I tried right clicking on the Email scannning Icon choosing
open and while looking for a check box reading " Check To Enable Scan
" but not finding that check box. What I see in the open window is:
Scan Incoming Messages. Scan Out Going Messages. Display
Notification Window While Email Is Busy Scanning. Is there some way
to turn the Email scanner back on again with out removing the AVG
Anti Virus? If the AVG is in need of a removal tool do you have any
suggestions on how to do so? Thanks John.
Hello John:
Someone put this removal tool listing out in a recent thread:
<http://www.technibble.com/repair-tool-of-the-week-antivirus-removal-tools/>
You might start thinking about getting away from Google posting and
sign up with one of the free NNTP servers and look into a newsreader.
Many filter out anything from Google because of spamming.
