Zone Alarm keeps showing me a warning that says: SL*.tmp is trying to
launch C:\WINDOWS\system32\msiexec.exe, or use another program to gain
access to privileged resources. Application: SL*.tmp

where the * is usually a number but occasionally has a letter in it.

I've run two anti-virus programs and Spybot and Ad-Aware and they
haven't found a problem. I "killed" all the know SL*.tmps I had found
in Zone Alarm - but now they are not "killed." I Googled the issue
but
found no matching responses. Pleae, I need some help getting ris of
this parasite. Thank you.

This appears to be a .net framework update from Microsoft.
The program attempting to access the computer is Windows Update. Allow
it next time, and the update will be installed and the error message
should quit appearing.
What is this file that ZASS keeps blocking?:
