F-Secure question

I installed F-Secure AV 2006 for evaluation on one of my PCs

Installed ok, but updating the virus defs is taking ages - 3hours so far
(and only at 10%!) and connection keeps timing out.

Is this normal for F-secure? Or are their update servers usually ok?
