Hi! I too have had the exact same experience, and I believe that what
ius really going on here is that the error message is nothing more than
Syamntec's way of making you upgrade thier product. There is really no
virus. In my case they say that my version (2004) is no long supported,
even though I have a service contract with Symantec, they want another
$70 to upgrade. BTW, This software was bundled with a new DEll computer
that is just a year old. Thanks to Dell for packing a product at the
end of it's life cycle, but that is another story. So in the end tis is
just a way to drive sales for Symantec. If anone else can dispute this
and actually find a virus on my computer or White's, please help.
