trend micro virus scan

When I attempt to run the on line scan, I get a prompt that says:
HouseCall unfortunately does not support multibyte character sets yet. Please come back for updates.
I'm sure I ran it successfully recently. Anyone can tell me what the message means and what I should do to overcome it.
