McAfee not starting

I'm hoping someone can help me, my McAfee anti virus is not starting on schedule. I checked in the scheduled task folder in control panels and everything is ok. Even in the McAfee options, the schedule is checked off and time is correct. I even went into services, and all is fine there too. This all happened last week for no reason, everything was working just fine, then all of a sudden, it stops working! I have no idea what to do next. I even called the help line at McAfee, the guy was a total jerk and knew nothing, I ended up hanging the phone up, it was that bad!
I got the McAfee from Comcast, it's free, and I even uninstalled it, and installed it again, still does not work on schedule.
