uninstall NIS

Hi,

I have just tried to uninstall an old version of Norton Internet Security to
install a newer one.
My problem : during the uninstall, several error messages appeared
mentioning the impossibility of removing items which I had no other solution
than ignore.
Now that I am trying to install the new version, it refuses saying the old
version has not been properly removed. How can I do ?

Thanks for your help.

Stefan
