Thanks,,,I found my HOST file, WindowsXP Pro......
Windows/Systen32/Drivers... but it's empty !!!!

Open it with a text editor and add the following lines:

...

Note that if you use Notepad to edit the file, you will probably have
to add quote marks around the file name, to keep Notepad from adding
the .txt extension to the file. HOSTS has no extension.

This worked, the "real" HOST file was in Windws\System32\Drivers\ETC\ So the changes I made to the HOST file in the Drivers Directory did nothing. The one in theETC directory was read only, I removed that, pasted the above lines in and all is good again! Should I move the HOST file from ETC and move it to the Driver directory?

Sorry, I missed that you typed:
   Windows/Systen32/Drivers...
and assumed you found the correct file. That ellipsis, and the
misspelled "Systen" so I thought you just typed it wrong.

AFAIK, there should never be a HOSTS file in
   c:\windows\system32\drivers
You may delete that one. (How did it get there?)

Beats Me, But I will delete it! Thanks DS
