Re: question about using Norton

I have been thinking about AVG and Avast, some of my friends use AVG without problems, but someone else I know was infected with 10 viruses that AVG didn't pick up and she was in big trouble and she said she had all her updates, so I'm confused. I read some good things about both, I use Norton and never had a problem but then some here don't like that either, very confusing. Anyway, we have a couple of weeks before her trial runs out, that'
s why I was wondering if I could use my trial Norton that I never needed to use,
thanks very much,
Casey.

My friend has a new computer well it's almost 3 months old and it came with the 3 months trial version of Norton Internet Security. I've been lurking here looking for advice about a free AV program for her, and haven't made up my mind yet. I have a Norton trial that came with my new computer about one year ago but I've never used it as I already had a paid AV which I installed. Would I be able to install my trail one for her until we decide.
Many thanks,
Casey.

so far nod32 is he best if every av i had. updates every day, huge virus databse, kills fast etc. norton always has been good but the updates and virus kills are not as good. avg, i havent tryed it but i heard its good.
