As far as the gicleur fittings (hope we're talking about the same
ones), it is absolutely critical that you be able to access them on a
regular basis. The micron screens should be changed out a couple of
times yearly. Using 2 wrenches in opposing force has always gotten
them open for me.
Did you find micron screens at the flowmeters?
I use teflon tape wherever I can make it work.

Both flowmeters did have the screens and they have been replaced.
I do have teflon tape and will use that.
