Hey,
Laranzato was offering free trials on their machines after the Seattle
SCAA show, and they sent one to us in Florida. The pricepoint on the
equipment was very good and from what I saw, the machines looked
adequate. I put the espresso machine on the bench and looked under the
hood, but didn't run it because I knew we weren't going to keep it. I
had a shop full of Bezzeras and CMA machines to deal with already.
So you get the alt.coffee test run. I think it will do fine for the
church's application, and you will have local service. Please let us
know what you think of it....al

I know I posted about this before, but I am still looking for more
information.
My church is moving into its new facility this week. I am helping a
bit with the new espresso machine.
The new machine is a Laranzato with a couple of Laranzato grinders.
I do not know too much about that brand of machine. It is a 3 group
machine and it looks like it has E61 groups on it.
Laranzato grinders? They look like any average espresso grinder,
although they did come in boxes stamped "Made in China".
I was not in on the purchasing decision, oh well, I would have
suggested a gently used machine. The machine was bought from a local
company that will be servicing it, so, in the long run it was probaly
the best idea.
Anyone have anything constructive to offer in the way of advice?
Thanks, Shane
.
