Yeah, I was a bit surprised at that.
One of the things that's really nice about text
files is that you can search through them; a
convenience not afforded by the method used here.
Now then, if we could find a gaggle of willing
transcriptionists...

If you have the file, you can have Acrobat Professional perform its
built-in OCR. It's under the Document menu item. It MAY reduce the
file size dramatically.
If I had it, I'd do it for you!
